From September 12 to 14, the 2024 Jiangsu University Student Dragon Boat Championship, sponsored by Jiangsu Student Sports Association and hosted by Jiangsu Student Sports Association College Working Committee and Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, officially kicked off at Haiyun Lake, Changshan Campus of Jiangsu University of Science and Technology。A total of 457 athletes from 19 universities and colleges in the province participated in the competition, a record high scale。
Our school team consists of 13 students from four secondary colleges. Wu Fengbin from the Sports Department is the leader and Cheng Xijie and Tian Si are the coaches。Participated in the men's group B 100 meters, 200 meters and 500 meters three events。On the field, the athletes carried forward the spirit of unity, cooperation and tenacious struggle, and finally achieved the fourth and sixth place in the team total score of Group B, and the results of each individual event refreshed the school history record。As the first participating team, it not only won the honor for the school, but also opened a new chapter of the dragon boat project of Chang Xin Yuan。(Photo/Tian Sixun/Xu Jia, WU Fengbin, Ren Wenjun)
